Sony's sparked something alright... It's unleashed the potential of online flash mobs...
So for those of you who don't know... It's a new style of advertising... They call it an online flash mob... In short it's a viral thing... A website invites people in, they give you a time and place... And voila, if it's a well executed, you have a flash mob !!!
And that's exactly what Sony Ericsson recently pulled off in partnership with Yahoo... The portal that made it possible... www.hopperinvasion.com ... Designed by Dare Consultancy with MEC the hopper invasion campaign seems to have struck a chord with the people as seen in the Satchi & Satchi's TV Campaign below from Barcelona...
The whole campaign is in tandem with Sony's rebranding with their new brand message 'make.believe' and the launch of their new phones, AINO and SATIO... The whole idea with the Spark Something campaign is that you can spark something fun anytime, anyplace...
Well at the end of the day while it is still advertising, more engaging and livelier than the usual sort, a lot of people seemed to have had fun...

Humm, interesting that they're going down a big rebrand when they can't even get Spark Something right.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
